The Great Ocean Road ~ 2004 & 2006 Trips
|
|
| Quote: | Presenting one of the most picturesque tourist spot in Victoria. It's one of the most breath-taking sceneries till some people said it is must a visit place once you're in Melbourne.
We've been there once in 2004, on our way to Adelaide.
Unfortunately, since the whole exploration journey along The Great Ocean Road took more than 5-6 hours, we reached the Twelve Apostles during the sunset.
Travelling together with 3 other families with a total up of nearly 15 children made the days more hectic and full of hassles.
So, we missed the opportunities to explore lots of things there, eg. Otway lightstation, Lord Ard Gorge, and others.
The photos here are the combination of two trips, the first trip in 2004 and the recent trip made by my husband, Anis & Ida (my SIL).
The gloomy photos were from the 1st trip in 2004. |
| Quote: | While the photos below are from the 2nd trip.
Unfortunately Aiman & I didn't go on the 2nd trip.
I promised to myself that one day, I'll be there again, insya Allah..
Really love the photos on their trip!!
How I wished I were there!
I guess no words can express the fabulous God's gift..
The photos from the 2nd trip were captured by Ida & my husband.
Credits to them..
It is to be noted that each of these place ada nama-nama dia tersendiri, eg. Blowhole, Thunder Cave, Lord Ard Gorge, anyway, tak taule mana satu for each photos..
These picturesque photos stands by itself, not by the photography skills
Subhanallah..that's the perfect word for it..
Alas, if you don't feel that this place is amazing, it's our skill which failed to amaze you then..
Obviously the photos will be 1000x better if it were taken by pros!!
Anyway, hope you'll enjoy it!!!
p/s: No editing at all since xde masa & x rajin
-Ida, if you're here, sorry to include yr photos!!
***PLS NOTE THAT THE 12th APOSTLES HAD SINCE BECAME 11th APOSTLES AFTER ONE OF THE MAIN APOSTLES COLLAPSED RECENTLY, compare #6 above and #7 below

Exploring Me!bourne: Part IV
|
|
| Quote: | Sebenarnya rasa cam dah boring upload gbr2 'hutan batu' Melbourne ni.
Ingat nak upload gbr2 kat The Great Ocean Rd -one of the most picturesque spot & breath taking views in Victoria.
Tapi tak sempat lagi nak edit comel2..maybe next entry kut..
So, at the moment terpaksalah layaan gbr2 historical buildings kat sekitar Melbourne city ni lagi yek!
|
| Quote: | FYI, this photo was taken during the peak season of Melbourne Commonwealth Games.
Pls take note, no editing was performed on this photo (except for the text ).
Credits to Ida, my SIL for capturing this cool photo!
Flinders St Station is the core railway station in Melbourne City since 1854.
Located at one of the most busiest and lively street in Melbourne, it is surrounded by lots of the city's landmarks such as the Federation Square and Yarra River.
More infos can be found at: http://www.doi.vic.gov.au/
|
| Quote: | The magnificent Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton Gardens was completed in 1880 for Melbourne’s first International Exhibition, a product of the optimism, enthusiasm and energy of the people of Melbourne in the late nineteenth century. Melbourne was a prosperous city basking in the wealth from the richest gold rush in the world… how better to publicise the achievements and opportunities in the (then) colony of Victoria than by hosting an international exhibition?

p/s: These photos were heavily edited due to the very gloomy weather but still didn't meet the expectations! |

Baru perasan kewujudannya tahun ni even dah lama bermastautin kat Melb ni!

Kalau ada any special occasions about ANZAC day, depa buat kat Shrine ni.
Even ari tu org2 Greek pun sambut Greece National Day kat sini!

Exploring Me!bourne: Part 1~ State Library of Victoria
|
|
| Quote: | Since aktiviti2 berjalan dibekukan sementara waktu, the next-next entries will include
gambar2 lama kat sekitar Melbourne & Victoria.
More infos on Melbourne can be found here:
http://www.thatsmelbourne.com.au
http://www.melbourne.vic.gov.au
Mula-mula nak masukkan gambar2 w/out people tp bila check2,
tak byk gambar yg takde org.
So, terpaksalah masukkkan gbr2 yg ada muka2 org
Anyway, pls don't expect too much on the qualities.
Mmg takde skills in photography, biasanya main snap je & nothing more than the family memories.
Tak sempat pun sebab biasanya lebih busy melayan budak2 ni dr melayan camera!
Well, the first entry is about the State Library of Victoria.
Actually banyak burung merpati kat sini, very nice.
Mat saleh selalu lepak2 kat sini esp. time summer.
Unfortunately on that time merpati dah terbang habis, sebab kena kejar ngan Aiman!
More infos on the State Library can be found at: http://www.slv.vic.gov.au/
|
| Quote: | Atas permintaan Nic, kat atas ni ada tambahan gambar2 Aiman kejar burung
dan action2 di belakang tabir
Sori tak cantik sgt, kamera tak cukup zoom in & power!
Lagipun tak larat nak kejar merata |

Lahirnya seorang Aiman ~ 13/6/2003
|
|
| Quote: | He..he..today is Aiman's birthday!
Special thanks for the early wishes from nn and globalnomad.
Since yesterday was a public holiday 'Queen's Birthday", so we decided to celebrate it earlier.
Kebetulan ada kawan ajak lunch kat rmh, so brought along the cake to celebrate the special occasion together.
To Suffian 'Nokia' & family, thank you for the great lunch, siap ada special dessert lagi!
Aiman's last year bday can be found here:

p/s: Baru realized, 12th June : Queen's Birthday= globalnomad's birthday!
Wah, bestnya sama besday dgn Queen! |
| Quote: | | Aiman from the day he was born till now |
| Quote: | Ya Tuhanku, berikanlah aku dari sisi Engkau seorang anak yg baik. Sesungguhnya Engkau Maha Pendengar doa (Ali Imran:38)

Majlis Aqiqah
|
|
| Quote: | On last Saturday, warga KgVic were invited to attend 'kenduri' Aqiqah of Adam bin Baharuddin.
Muy hubby was incharged to place order on the two sheeps.
While I was incharged to marinate and grill 15kgs of chicken.
Fuh! Jenuh jugak me'marinate' ayam2 tu sorg2!
Took about 4 hours to grill all the chicken in our small oven..
Majlis ni dibuat seiring dgn majlis farewell utk specialist doctors yg akan pulang ke Msia for good.
Antaranya, Dr. Marina (neurologi), Dr. Razman (pakar hati), Dr. Muhsein (neurosurgeon) & Dr. Norita (ENT).
They are here for their subspecialities for one year.
In fact Adam is the youngest son of two specialists (Dr. Baha, Orthopaedic & Dr. Khairiah).
Kebetulan, a few people decided to make a surpise b'day cake for Mrs. tuan rmh.
Really enjoyed the foods & the gathering!
Buat mereka yg akan pulang ke Msia, selamat kembali ke tanahair tercinta!
Moga ukhwah yg terjalin berkekalan walau terpisah antara benua.. |

|
| Quote: | Semalam saja jenjalan kat sekitar Melbourne Museum.
Dah lama nak ambik gambar time autumn ala2 baling daun.
Ni pun dah hujung2 autumn nak masuk ke winter.
Kengkonon nak jadi cam SN, tapi tak jadi sangat maybe sebab?:
a. Kamera tak cukup power
b. Bebudak ni x mau dok diam2!
c. Ke 'tak reti' an model2 nya berposing
d. Atau semua sebab2 di atas
Anyway, ni lah hasilnya tak seberapa
Kalau nak photos yg gempak2 kena tunggu SN dtg Melbourne lagi kut!

Aiman at Child Care (From N3230 lens)
|
|
| Quote: | These are Aiman photos at the occasional Child Care (that's what they call nursery in Oz).
Being a student, I can't afford to send our kids to full day child care.
It would cost us around ~$50/day per child. |
| Quote: | Coincidently, my sis in law (who babysits Aiman for 3 months) took English class here.
The occasional child care (for 3 hrs) costs us only $5 which is definitely much-much cheaper!
|
| Quote: | Life in overseas seems to be very nice, full of happiness & excitement.
Yet, it's far different when we're the ones who face it...
Being a studying mother & wife, priorities always come to family no matter what..
Being far away from our families makes life more challenging than ever... |
| Quote: | We've been 'importing' sisters and relatives (for each 2@3 months) since 2 years ago to take care of Anis & Aiman as long as there're people who're willing to do so.
Nevertheless, from this coming July onwards, we're still thinking of who'll come next ? |
| Quote: | p/s: Anyone interested to become the babysitter?? |
